Day 3 of Halloween week on the blog and I’m sharing with you my FAVORITE halloween make-up look!! This glam skull look is SO easy to do and all you really need is black eyeshadow and eyeliner!
THE LOOK: GLAM SKULL
Tarte Shape Tape
W7 Colour Me Buff and In the Buff Lightly Toasted Eye Shadow Pallette
ELF Black Liquid Eyeliner
Ardell Magnetic Lashes
Urban Decay 24/7 Black Eyeliner
Dermablend Loose Setting Powder
White Hair Spray
How to Get this Look:
Step 1: Apply “Onyx” from the “In the Buff” eyeshadow palette all over the lid. (Note: Apply lightly and in layers! You want it to be dark, but black eyeshadow is a dangerous game!!) You can apply this pretty messy and BLEND BLEND BLEND into your crease, inside corner and up past your inner brow.
Step 2: Apply “Up in Smoke” over the matte black just applied to give it little shimmer – Apply this to ONLY the LID and crease!
Step 3: Apply “Dawn” from the inner corner to about 3/4 of the way before your outer corner.
Step 4: Apply black liner all around your eye from inner to outer corner on upper and lower waterline.
Step 5: Take black liquid liner and trace along your upper lash line from about half-way to the outer corner and create a small wing.
Step 6: Apply and blend out concealer under your eyes, and cover your lips as well. Apply a white or very pale powder foundation over your entire face.
Step 7: Take black liquid liner and create a slightly-upward horizontal line from each corner of your mouth and draw short lines from end to end crossing the long black line.
Step 8: With the black eyeliner trace a teardrop shape with a rigged top on the tip of your nose and fill in with with black liquid liner.
Step 9: Apply the false magnetic lashes and apply black mascara to your bottom lash line.
Step 10: (Optional) Curl your hair and spray white colored hairspray all throughout your hair to complete the look!

Day 2 of Halloween week: Who doesn’t love a clever Instagram caption?! So, let me be frank(enstein), an Instagram caption can make or break your post, no matter how good of a picture you may post. That being said, Halloween is right around the corner so I have compiled 31 of the best halloween-themed Instagram captions for all those cute costume photos, yummy snacks shots, ghoulsquad pics, or pum-king and hallo-queen couple goals or should I say couple ghouls?! Ok, I think you get it…. I’m done with the puns, enjoy!
**Note: I do not take any credit for creating any of these. This is simply a compiled list of quotes I have seen or heard before.
Hurricane Michael is hitting NC today so cozy rainy day outfit is a MUST MUST MUST!!
I found this Thread and Supply pullover at Marshalls for about $35 when they are originally $78. It’s honestly like a warm hug 24/7 when you’re wearing it. I am definitely going to be living in it this season!
I found this great Amazon dupe for only $31 and it comes in 11 colors!!:

Ahh October… the month when it’s officially acceptable to wear sweaters, boots, & decorate for fall & halloween, which is exactly what I started doing without delay!
If you’re anything like me, you see super cute wreaths in the store all the time, then look at the price tags & it’s always some craaaazy amount that you just can’t justify paying for fake flowers & plants in a circle…Well, I’m here to save your wallet & give you that super cute wreath you’ve always wanted for a FRACTION of the cost!
This DIY wreath took me about 10 minutes to make and only costed $16.40 (thanks to Michaels having all their fall decor 50% off!!)
Michaels had so many fall themed leaves & flowers to pick from. I probably spent more time trying to pick out which ones I wanted than actually making the wreath! I wanted to make something that would last me through thanksgiving, & if I wanted to change it up for winter, I could easily take a few of the more fall-y pieces out and replace them with wintery ones (which they also already had out).
Super easy, affordable, & customizable – what more could you ask for?!
Michaels also had a great deal on fall scented candles! Check out my “sale” highlights on my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/blondebytheshoree/

The best time of the year has arrived! These quick & easy fall apple inspired breakfasts will give you something to do with all those apples you’ll inevitably pick this fall and will give you that warm fuzzy feeling on the chilliest of fall mornings…
APPLE CINNAMON RICE CAKES
This is an autumnal spin on one of my go-to daily breakfasts. With only 3 ingredients, you can make this just as quick as you can pour a bowl of cereal!
- Apple Cinnamon Rice Cakes
- Peanut Butter
- Chocolate Chips
- Granola (optional)
Take your rice cake and spread the peanut butter on it. (I’m nutty for peanut butter so I load that puppy up!) Then sprinkle on some chocolate chips. Easy-peasy apple-squeezy, you’re done! I sometimes like to add some granola or extra cinnamon on top; extra the yummmm.
APPLE BUTTER BISCUITS
A P P L E B U T T E R… need I say more?! Apple butter is seriously one of my favorite things on this planet!! You can put it on so many different things, toast, chicken, pork chops, waffles, and for this one, we’re putting it on biscuits!!
- Refrigerated Biscuits (I used Trader Joe’s Buttermilk Biscuits)
- Apple Butter (I used Trader Joe’s Apple Cider Jam… definitely in my top 3 fav apple butters/jams!!)
This one’s pretty self-explanitory.. bake your biscuits as directed on the packaging, then spread the jam. This is perfect to pair with some scrambled eggs and bacon too!
APPLE CINNAMON & SUGAR CROSSAINTS
We just keep getting sweeter & sweeter, but I’m definitely not complaining! This is a pretty indulgent one, but still quick and easy to make.
- Can of Croissants
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
- 2 Large Apples
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thinly slice the apples. Mix together the cinnamon & sugar in a bowl, then roll out the croissants on a baking sheet and sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar on all of them. Next, lay 2-3 apple slices at the large end of the croissants and roll them up. Bake for 15 minutes.
It’s only the first week of fall, but I’ve already made ALL of these recipes! I have NO shame in saying, I could honestly eat all of these recipes everyday & probably will for the rest of the season.
